Ha3MrX/facebook-cracker: A Powerful Tool for Cracking into Facebook Database without Interruption
I also lost over a dozen contacts from my list. I know that Facebook does offer the option to manually delete individual contacts, but that option is buried deep, and all but one have been deleted since I hadn't heard back from them in a while. Using Recoverit Data Recovery, I recovered the contacts and then restored them on my iPhone. Now that I know I have the contacts I want, my plan is to move them to my e-mail address and then send out an e-mail that says "I lost my contacts, please help me get them back". This is the first time I've even thought about deactivating a contact from my list.

If you want to delete all the data you've gained from Facebook, this is probably the easiest way. However, there are other ways to delete this data, and in fact, some of them may be more secure.
Now I'm wondering why Facebook needs this much information about me? Certainly, there's no reason to know my family, friends, dates of birth, etcetera. Maybe it's related to their attempt to become compliant with the Social Media Privacy Bill of Rights with the introduction of their new Terms of Service. One thing is sure, though: that phone number isn't mine.
So, what can you do with this information? Maybe you'd like to play Farmville with your Facebook friends, and though I suspect you have a lot more farming to do with the data Facebook offers you, I do wonder how much of that data is being sold to the highest bidder. And I certainly wouldn't put it past Farmville to send my phone number to Chinese bots to harvest my click-to-play data. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but a lot of things worry me when it comes to Facebook.
