i dont know if i like the fully optional commentary. it feels kind of weird and its always in the back of my head. i love the higher-quality voice acting too though. i love when its not used as a cheesy commentary track. in any case, no matter what, this is another big step for the left 4 dead 2 community. the community will grow with the release of the dlc and as long as more of us are willing to keep making left 4 dead 2s, we will continue to grow.

for the first time since the release of left 4 dead the infected are able to wield weapons. to use these weapons, hold down the right mouse button and press the left mouse button to swing your weapon. unlike the first game the weapons have unlimited ammo, although you have to stop shooting in order to reload. once you've got your weapons equipped, you can equip them with the same outfits that you get while playing the game. all the weapons, including the crossbow, have unlimited ammo.

with the outbreak of the zombie virus, the survivors of fubar, the nearby military base, and the citizens of san francisco have been left to fend for themselves. the game opens with a cutscene where a helicopter drops survivors off in the middle of the desert. the helicopter has already crashed, leaving only the pilot alive. the survivors are told that they need to get to one of three locations, one of which is marked by a big red cross. if you want to reach the helicopter, which is the only safe haven, you must locate the survivors on foot, and fight your way to it.

the green jewel is in the body storage room. pick up the dead scientist at the table, and then combine it with the green book. now you can place the dead scientist with book back onto the dead scientist, and it will open its other hand to give you the green jewel. the green jewel is used to unlock the bejeweled box and obtain the s.t.a.r.s. badge ( usb dongle key ).
